This is the third car we designed for Montway Auto Transport. The goal was to create a unique design for this particular Porsche 992 GT3 Cup that would still look like it’s part of the familiar of Montway Auto Transport race cars.
The particular theme on this design was that fact that Alcatraz.ai is a major sponsor. This AI software focused on facial recognition. As a result we decided to include linear elements of a biometric scan in order to keep with that theme.
It’s very common to see livery designs that leverage heavily contrasting colors. What’s not so common is combination hues of the same family of colors. This technique was used to great effect in this design by using a very clever combination of a lighter bright blue along with a bold navy blue. This color palette combined with white lettering and yellow accents for the race series proved to be the right call.
The matching the previous GT4RS Clubsport livery we designed is basically the same design, but without the Alcatraz.ai biometric scan artwork.
This particular design was printed and installed in Europe given the car would be racing there. The 2024 Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe challenge kicked off in Spain with Laptime Performance.
