Porsche 911R Stripes for 991 GT3 RS and GT4

We’ve been asked for Porsche 911R stripes for various Porsches more than once. Due to popular demand, we now have 911R stripes for the Porsche 991 GT3 RS and the Porsche 981 Cayman GT4. 991 GT3 coming up too…

That’s right! The wait is over. The Porsche 911R racing stripes might look like simple over-the-top stripes, but they actually have a lot more going on. The stripes have large spacing and they sit very close to the edges of the roof line and hood. As a matter of fact, there are a lot more contours going on near the edges than towards the middle of the car. Careful measurements are necessary.

The 911R stripes might also look similar across cars, but the fit is actually much different for the 991 GT3 RS and the Cayman GT4. Additionally, we have a set coming out for the 991 GT3. Uniquely, the rear deck lid is different on the 991 GT3 and requires new templates. By the time you read this that one should be out already so be sure to check out the 991 GT3 Stripe Kits.

These Porsche 911R stripe kits can be ordered in all the same colors we usually offer all our kits in. Moreover, because of the added contours needed by this kit, we are cutting them in high-performance cast air-release wrap vinyl for dry installation. The air-release vinyl does help with ease of installation. The cast wrap vinyl is also easier to stretch to the contours of the car.

All about choices… color choices!

The stripes can be ordered as a single color or an extra accent layer can be added for more color. Keep in mind this kit is a little harder to install that our other stripe kits. If you are not sure you know what you are doing, or don’t have any experience installing vinyl graphics, it might be good to hire a professional to install these for you. That’s not to say this isn’t a DIY-friendly install. With a little care, common sense and patience you can get pro results.

The kits are live in the shop. Because of the custom color choices, we cut them per order. We cut them quick on the first business day after orders are placed and often ship the same day. Just because they are specially cut for every order doesn’t mean you have to wait long.
